Malvern Valley Way
Each morning we begin our day with 1/2 hour of Malvern Valley Way time.
In
Term 1: We focus on Building our Class Communities and our School Community.
Term 2: While we look to be proactive in helping our students get along with each other we acknowledge that there will still be conflict so we looked at different ways of dealing with conflict to get a positive outcome.
Term 3: We focus on Personal Power , what it looks like, sounds like, feels like, how we build it and use it.
Term 4: We learnt about Team Work and Me.
The grade 3 students while considering the various roles team members take on, developed a list of Characters of a leader
They encourage, help, understand, contribute, take risks, acknowledge others, accept differences, listens to all ideas, keep group in order, cooperate, focus on take, share ideas/opinions
They are protective, respectful, responsible, nice, caring, kind, generous, a good friend, helpful, disagree respectfully
They are not bossy
They don't start conflict, do a wobbly
