Our Canteen Garden:
In 2005 our grade 5/6 class collected sleepers from around the school after the school fire. They then built this canteen garden with the help of their teachers, Mr Brown and Mr Tippett.
Parents have also helped setting it up during working bees. They have continued to build garden boxes to increase the growing capacity.
Our canteen supervisor has been working with children in the After School Program and teachers have been working with their children during class time to plant and tend the vegetables. Everyone enjoys eating the produce through our canteen.
