Updates: Term 4 Inquiry learning, Grades 3-6 Athletics Competition
The 5/6's have had a busy beginning to Term 4. As part of our Term 4 Inquiry Learning Unit the students have been learning how to identify finger prints and extract and analyse ink. The students used their skills to investigate a 'Mess Crime Scene'. As 'Change Detectives' the students observed the scene and used the evidence to investigate what they think happened. Here are some of their photographs of the evidence.

Report for Athletics
On Wednesday 7th of October the grade 3s to 6s went to East Burwood Reserve to compete in the Glen Iris District Athletics Championships. We competed against eight other schools unfortunately we came 9th. There were some great moments at the carnival.
Matthew Johnson came fourth in 100 metre sprints.
Noah Missell came fourth in long jump.
Andrew Papanikolaou came fourth in shot-put.
Jarryd Bradford came fourth in Discus.
Charlie Johns came fourth in shot-put.
Madeliene Ryan came third in high jump.
Anna Musgrave came third in Discus.
Karen Liu came third in triple jump and second in 100 metre sprint and long jump.
Nevin Liu came first in shot-put and gets in the Regional finals.
Everyone put in a great effort for every sport they competed in.

A special congratulations to Nevin who came first in his event of shot put and will be representing the school at the District Finals on Tuesday 13th October. Good Luck Nevin!
