Class Blogsite
On Friday 24th July our Grade 6 boys and Grade 5/6 girls competed in the Hooptime Basketball Competition at Nunawading Basketball Stadium. The way they played as a team and encouraged each other was a credit to every player and our school. Well done to both teams you were fantastic! Thank you to Julie, Karen, Vesna and Simon- our coaches, scorers and taxis- the day wouldn't have been possible without your support. Thank you also to Zac's Dad Matt for running a basketball clinic for our team.
Our Inquiry Learning topic for Term 3 is 'Grade 5/6 and the Drama Factory'. The students will be learning about set design, costume design, lighting, sound and performing in their different roles as they work towards their performance of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' in Week 7. The students will be reading and responding to a range of Roald Dahl texts in our literacy sessions.
